A complete renovation of the bakery starting with a blank canvas was required in a critical food manufacturing area. Working with BRS Ltd we were tasked with providing an environment that was temperature controlled to +18°C. Our ‘full solution design’ included 2 No. air handling units with gas fired heaters, chilled water coils and keeping efficiency in mind the controls package was designed to utilise the free cooling capabilities in the winter months. FredShaw also installed the ductwork which was then insulated and clad in a smooth aluminium finish as per the clients specification. Internally in the bakery the ductwork terminated with blue fabric air socks which can be easily removed and cleaned to keep up with Warburtons strict maintenance requierments.
